REMA 2024 will focus on the emergence of an Afro-Digital model, which brings together a range of visions, challenges and new practices.
Africa’s creative music scene has embraced digital technology, which has facilitated the expansion of markets through the (relative) disappearance of distribution borders.
Creators have seized on digital to breathe new life and innovation into music, in terms of creativity, distribution and consumption.
New forms have emerged and spread worldwide, with some flagrant examples of success.
As a result, Africa has reappropriated digital technology, and is now proposing its own identity, as well as an economic and creative model inspired by its values.
REMA 2024 invites all music professionals to join us in this exploration and contribute to freeing creativity, breaking down borders and reaching a global audience.
