The establishment of a network of African music professionals who meet regularly around issues related to the development of the Music Business; The discovery and dissemination of emerging artists from the continent; Sharing best practices around the current music business.

THE CONFERENCE :

Les Rencontres Musicales Africaines (African Musical Meetings) is an annual conference that brings together music professionals from Africa and beyond in Burkina Faso to discuss topics linked to the music economy. The REMA, which was founded by La Cour du Naaba, has been a huge success since its debut edition in 2018. The REMA is a must-attend event in Burkina Faso, as it strives to contribute to the professionalisation of the music industry in Africa to transform it into a development tool. The REMA consists of three days of reflections and exchanges with the goal of creating a permanent forum for music actors to share their experiences in the African music industry through Panels, keynotes, speed meeting, workshops, and showcases for professionals
